The Wait Is Over

Many have been waiting for this day for a long time! Quilters have had their machine's pedal to the metal as they finished making 1207 quilts to take to Fort Bragg, NC.
The coffee was flowing as 44 quilters woke up bright and early to get in the bus this morning. Even Abe Lincoln woke up to see us off! Before the bus took off, there was some business that needed to be done.

The trip couldn't have happened without the work of Bill Barbknecht. It's only fitting that he was presented with a quilt for all of the work he has done. With a motorcycle escort, we were ready to hit the road!

There is a lot more fun to be had, so keep checking back for more updates on our trip to Fort Bragg, NC!
